DAN Design is an interior design company located in the heart of Abu Dhabi Island founded by creative people, for creative people. The company was founded in April 2018, comprising of a team of six employees, and is headed by an experienced Managing Partner, who has more than 20 years of experience in the design business within Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
We consist of a core team of professionals supported by carefully chosen strategic partners, making us competitive and efficient.
Our main focus is commercial office space covering interior design services in Abu Dhabi, contractual work and furniture. We also work across sectors, be that F&B outlets, retail space, both indoors and outdoors.
We have successfully completed projects with a reputable client base of Saadiyat Rotana, Shamal, Spinney’s, Der Mond Oil & Gas, Prodicom and Aldar Academies

FOUNDER: THOMAS JOHANSEN
Thomas has been an investment banker for the past 30 years. His specialties lie within financial markets, corporate governance, and compliance, the latter two being core to DAN Design’s business model. Thomas has been in the Middle East since 1992.

Fahad is an inspirational sponsor and business facilitator. Educated in the UAE he has worked for several Government Institutions and has held positions including Head of Executive Council Affairs, Director of FDI and PPP at Abu Dhabi Investment Office and he is currently the Executive Director of Social Investment Fund at Ma’an Abu Dhabi.
